At last year’s Buildings Conference, we were able to sit down with Nolan Browne, Founder of ADL Ventures to talk about the firm’s efforts to push technology forward that is aimed at allowing the world to build more efficient buildings. Browne mention industrialized construction as the future of creating large-scale commercial buildings and also mentions that he feels like it might be one of the most overlooked and misunderstood topics surrounding the construction industry. Industrialized construction involves the use of precision technology and lean production methodologies to fabricate building components with high accuracy and quality. This would greatly reduce waste in the construction process and allow us to not only build cleaner but quicker as well.
