BuiltWorlds’ 2023 Americas Summit is quickly approaching, with pre-events beginning on September 19 in Chicago. This three-day event is curated for top-level, C-suite executives within the AEC industry to connect and discuss the trajectory of the industry with all of the ever-changing technology and innovation. Leung will be featured at the 2023 Americas Summit within a panel called "Lightning Round II - What are the Biggest Trends in Venture and Private Equity Investment in the Sector Today". Currently, Leung is working on the investment team at Brick and Mortar Ventures, where she works with portfolio companies, venture capitalists, and industry professionals to invest in rising startups that show promise within the construction industry.
Erick Melgar will be leading a presentation entitled "State of Corporate Venture in the Built World". Melgar is currently serving as General Manager for Progreso X, the corporate accelerator arm of Progreso. Progreso is a Guatemala-based company that provides solutions to streamline the construction process.
Palys will serve as an esteemed judge at the 2023 Americas Summit Demo Day. For over a decade, Palys has been spreading her industry knowledge and expertise within Graycor. She is currently working to develop high-impact Performance Excellence strategics while also executing an ESG plan.
Yuji Doi will be speaking within a panel called "From the C-Suite to the Field: The Delicate Dance of the Innovation Leader". Doi manages the open innovation and transformation team at Kajima, a general contractor company that engages in construction, real estate development, architectural design, and civil engineering.
Rick Khan will serve as an esteemed judge at the 2023 Americas Summit Demo Day. Khan spent 15 years at Mortenson before he began his current role as Chief Innovation Officer at STO Building Group. STO Building Group is made up of construction companies that are committed to providing top-tier construction management solutions for their clients.
