About Michael Pink:
Michael Pink, founder and CEO of SmartPM Technologies Inc., leads a team of industry experts to improve schedule analytics, service clients, and drive the company’s culture of continual improvement and innovation. He founded SmartPM Technologies in 2016 which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and the company grew its customer base by 250% in 2020 and closed another round of seed funding.
Michael is an experienced Construction Industry executive with 18+ years of experience in global capital construction program management, risk advisory and dispute resolution in the Power & Renewable Energy, Gas/Pipeline, Industrial and Manufacturing, Commercial and Residential buildings, Healthcare, Education, Transportation, Entertainment & Retails sectors. Michael spent most of his career working as a consultant in the “Big Four” consulting environment working closely with owners, contractors, attorneys, and lenders on complex consulting assignments.
Prior to founding SmartPM, Michael started Construx Solutions to provide consulting on construction data analysis, with a specific focus on schedule management and risk on commercial construction projects. Mr. Pink received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University. Mr. Pink is currently certified as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and a Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) and has authored multiple published articles on the subject matter.

SmartPM had an exciting year in 2023 starting in February when Nemetschek Group announced they would be investing into the AI enabled project management company. The investment signaled the software company’s intentions to expand into the international market, leveraging Nemetschek resources and knowledge along the way.
In May the SmartPM announced the release of a new Executive Dashboard as part of its solution. The recently released dashboard allows users of the software to view an entire portfolios performance on one screen.

In the second half of 2023 the company was featured in a Business Insider piece that highlighted the company’s streak of growth. According to Business Insider, the company, “recorded their third consecutive quarter-over-quarter of accelerated growth in the first half of 2023”
With momentum in fundraising and creating new features, SmartPM announced in November they would be forming a partnership and integrating with the AutoDesk Cloud services. Allowing companies that are already ingrained within the Autodesk suite of services to begin using SmartPM to manage their projects.
In December, SmartPM decided it was time to join the BuiltWorlds AI/ML Research Track to join a group of AEC professionals - both from the user and provider side - in furthering the conversation about how AI can best be leveraged within the built ecosystem.
