This event will provide guidance to these startups from 6 industry leaders that are strong mentors within the AEC space. Below are bios featuring each of the six judges for the 2023 Paris Summit Demo Night.
VP, CRH Ventures
Ramy is well-seasoned within the AEC space, with a diverse background spanning nine years with specializations in construction, building materials, strategy, and innovation. Before joining CRH Ventures, he made significant contributions at Amazon overseeing their flagship program, Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA), within Spain. Fam holds a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from IE Business School.
Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Cement
On top on his role as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Titan Cement, Leonidas also serves as Titan's Director of Corporate Affairs and is an active executive member of the Board of Directors. Before he began his work for Titan Cement, Leonidas worked for Separation Technologies LLC and Alpha Bank. Canellopoulous graduated with Honors for his BA in Economics and later pursued an MBA INSEAD.
Head of Ventures, Nemetschek Group
Tanja was appointed the head of ventures and startups at Nemetschek Group, which is a German-based property design software provider. Throughout her time within the AEC ecosystem, she has served as an investor and mentor for many startups and small companies, such as SmartPM, SymTerra, and Techstars. Kufner earned a BA in International Relations from U.S. International University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Head of Open Innovation & Startups, Leonard by Vinci
Guillaume is an experienced innovation leader that has an established history of working to bridge the gap between the AEC and energy industries. Prior to starting his role at Vinci, he worked as the Head of Product at a construction tech company. Bazouin holds a MS focused in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a Nuclear Engineering degree from Grenoble Institute of Technology.
Nick Billotti
Managing Partner, Shibumi International
Nick is currently working at a Managing Partner at Shibumi International, a corporate venture capital company investing in early-stage startups. Their international work specializes in heavy civil works, steel fabrication, and transportation projects.
Head of Construction, Startup Lab
Liverød implements his passion for strategic planning, implementation of innovative technology, and analysis of long-term AEC trends. He has extremely valuable first-hand knowledge of the intersection between client needs and what provider support. Liverød has a BSc from BI Norwegian Business School along with the Executive Program at the Singularity University in Silicon Valley.
