2. Arconic acquired by Apollo Global Management

Apollo acquired Arconic from its previous owner, Crossplane Capital, via Apollo's Impact Mission Fund. Arconic Corporation, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products, that advance the ground transportation, aerospace, building and construction, industrial, and packaging end markets.

Apollo Global Management is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager focusing on three investing strategies: yield, hybrid, and equity. Apollo's Impact Mission Fund invests in companies with a dedicated impact on ESG initiatives.

3. Diversey acquired by Solenis

Diversey (NASDAQ: $DSEY) was acquired by Solenis, a portfolio company of Platinum Equity, in a "go-private" rollup acquisition. Diversey is a building services company providing hygiene and disinfectant solutions.

Solenis, a PortCo of Platinum Equity, is a leading producer of specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries.

4. Radius Global Infrastructure acquired by EQT Group & PSP Investments

$3.0B | Acquisition | September 21st, 2023 | United States

Radius Global Infrastructure (NASDAQ: $RADI) was acquired indirectly by EQT Group via its Active Core Infrastructure fund, and the Canadian pension plan manager, Public Sector Pension Investment Board (“PSP”). Radius is a leading global aggregator of real property interests underlying wireless telecommunications cell sites and other digital infrastructure assets.

EQT is a purpose-driven global investment organization. PSP is one of Canada’s largest pension investment managers.

5. Japan Wind Development acquired by Infroneer Holdings

$1.4B | Acquisition | December 12th, 2023 | Japan

Japanese civil engineering group Infroneer Holdings, purchased Japan Wind Development from Bain Capital. This acquisition expands Infroneer's energy business unit. Japanese Wind Development is one of the leading owner/operators of wind turbine farms in Japan.

Infroneer Holdings is a civil engineering and infrastructure company located in Japan.

6. Duro-Last acquired by Holcim AG

$1.29B | Acquisition | February 7th, 2023 | Switzerland

Holcim AG, the world's largest cement maker based in Zurich, acquired Saginaw, Michigan-based roofing systems manufacturer Duro-Last as part of its strategic expansion into North America. Duro-Last manufactures a custom-fabricated, single-ply commercial roofing system that is ideal for any flat or low-sloped application.

7. Carbon Engineering acquired by Occidental

Occidental Petroleum strategically acquired Carbon engineering for the purpose of developing carbon capture sites. These carbon capture sites can be used to produce products such as fuel and concrete. Carbon Engineering (CE) is a Canadian-based clean energy company leading the commercialization of groundbreaking technology that captures CO₂ directly from air, and a second technology that synthesizes it into clean, affordable transportation fuels.

Occidental Petroleum is a U.S.-based oil & gas producer. The purchase was to bolster the company's net-zero initiatives.

Saint-Gobain acquired Building Products of Canada, a horizontal acquisition aimed at strategic expansion in North America. Building Products of Canada is a leading manufacturer of residential roofing shingles and wood fiber insulation panels.
